Is re-mapping safe?
ECU Remapping/Tuning is a skill that is learnt from years of training and experience. ECPT’s technicians are more than qualified and continue to participate in regular training to ensure we are up to date with the latest motor vehicle technologies and designs.
With this in mind you can rest assure that your pride and joy is in safe hands and your newly remapped vehicle will be tuned so that you can enjoy it for years to come.
If performed by under-qualified or inexperienced technicians, it may result it catastrophic failure leaving you with a hefty repair bill.
Unqualified and inexperienced technicians may:
- damage the vehicle’s engine control unit
- set your vehicle to ‘limp mode’
- accidentally ‘over-boost’ your engine
- cause damage to expensive engine parts
Do you offer any guarantee?
Yes. East Coast Performance Tuning offers a 30 day money back guarantee* on all our ECU remaps. If you are not completely satisfied within the 30 days we will return your vehicle to factory settings and refund the money paid for the tune. *Contact ADMIN for full terms and conditions.
What happens if the manufacturer overwrites your changes?
If you are still the current owner of the vehicle, we will re-map the ECU free of charge.
Do I have to bring my vehicle to you?
We are able to re-map your vehicle at your home, via our own workshop or by mail-order. Mail orders we generally have re-mapped the same day we receive the order and returned within a few days (depending on postage times). A standard tune done in-house takes on average four hours.
